Kuoni Academy - Bangalore center celebrated World Tourism Day, which aims to encourage awareness among the international community about the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political and economic values. Each year, the day focuses on a particular theme with past themes including 'Tourism for development', 'Tourism: a factor of tolerance and peace' and 'Ecotourism, the key to sustainable development'. Kuoni Academy Bangalore celebrated the day with many events and a party atmosphere takes over at the center with students preparing models of various types of tourism like Adventure tourism, Eco tourism, and Wildlife tourism and presenting awareness about the upcoming trend of Medical Tourism with a PPT presentation.

Kuoni Academy (KA) in association with The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) celebrated the World Tourism Day with “KAQ’z” – The Intercollegiate Travel & Tourism quiz competition.

Kuoni Academy has been celebrating this quiz competition for the past 5 years. The theme of the World Tourism Day this year is “Diversity in Tourism”. 48 teams from colleges all across Mumbai participated in the Quiz competition which was held at the Kuoni Academy regional centre in Babulnath. The objective of this competition is to spread awareness of travel & tourism amongst the students, the custodians of tomorrow.
